BOEING 747 SIMULATOR
The C2FPA is equipped with an exceptional fire simulator that meets the needs of the largest international airports.
It is now the world’s largest aircraft fire simulator in a training center.
It is equipped according to the plan of the aircraft manufacturer and allows important realism.
Our BOEING 747 simulator, like all of our fire simulation equipment, runs on liquid and gaseous LPG.
The BOEING 747 fire simulator has a unit length of 65 meters and a fuselage diameter of:
- Double deck section (front): 8.5 meters;
- Single deck section (center and rear): 7 meters.
Its dimensions make it a true class 9 aircraft.
ENGINE LIGHTS
3 REACTORS OF 3 METERS IN DIAMETER
POSITIONING:
- Outside left: blower;
- Inside left: blower and nozzle (with a smoke generator on the nozzle outlet);
- Inside right: nozzle (with a smoke generator on the nozzle outlet).
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
- Total length: 5.5 meters;
- FAN diameter: 3 meters;
- The height between the ground and the low point of the engine is between 1,30 meters and 2,40 meters.
- Spacing between the center of the fuselage and the center of the engines is identical to reality, that is to say: Engine n°1: 20,5 meters / Engines n° 2 and 3: 12 meters
LANDING GEAR LIGHTS
WITH A SMOKE GENERATOR BETWEEN THE TWO WHEELS OF THE BOGIES
POSITIONING:
- 1 landing gear with 4 wheels on the outside left side;
- 1 landing gear with 6 wheels on the outside right side.
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
- Boggies to scale 1;
- Wheels of 1,20-meter diameter and 0,50-meter width;
- Tires and rims were reproduced to raise awareness about the risk of bursting.
UPPER CANOPY LIGHTS
POSITIONING:
- The entire length of the back;
- simulates a flashover following a tank fire;
- It can be ignited following a slick fire or a landing gear fire.
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
- Length of 20 meters.
FUSELAGE LIGHTS
POSITIONING:
- Totality of the fuselage at 2/3 of fuselage height.
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
- 10 meters on the upper part of the double deck;
- 30 meters on the upper part of the single deck.
TABLECLOTH FIRES
POSITIONING:
- 2 tablecloth fires at 5 meters from the front and side drains (5 m2 x 2);
- 1 tablecloth fire of 50 m2 behind the engine n°2. 2 fire sectors;
- 1 tablecloth fire of 100 m2 behind the engine n°3. 3 fire sectors;
- 1 tablecloth fire (overflow of the right outside wing of 50 m2). 2 fire sectors;
- Left lander well: smoke generator in the well (no fire point).
- Total of 210 m2 of fire surface on the ground
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
- Different tablecloth fires are divided into several sectors that can be lit either individually or all at the same time;
SMOKE GENERATOR
The BOEING 747 fire simulator is equipped with 5 smoke generators that have the ability to create an opaque smoke cloud over the entire surface of the aircraft. Each smoke generator has a high flow rate of 700 m3 per minute.
