After more than 110,000 hours of loyal service in the air under the Air France colors, it landed for its 19,395th and final time on the runway at Ch\u00e2teauroux-Centre airport, on its way back to the C2FPA site.<\/p>\n

Les ae\u0301ronefs de type moyen-courrier de classes 6 et 7 (AIRBUS 320\/321 et BOEING 737-800) sont principalement positionne\u0301s sur les ae\u0301roports franc\u0327ais. Le C2FPA re\u0301pond a\u0300 cette demande en mettant en place un simulateur correspondant a\u0300 ces cate\u0301gories d\u2019ae\u0301ronefs.<\/p>\n


Class 6 and 7 medium-haul aircraft (AIRBUS 320\/321 and BOEING 737-800) are mainly based at French airports. C2FPA is responding to this demand by setting up a simulator for these aircraft categories.<\/p>\n

A unique off-road runway in Europe, on the C2FPA site, has been specially created to take into account the technical characteristics of all types of Foam Intervention Vehicles, in accordance with the Commission Nationale des Mat\u00e9riels de S\u00e9curit\u00e9 A\u00e9roportuaire (CNMSA) and the standards and recommendations of Annex 14 of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).<\/p>\n

            A guarantee of safety:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            Since October 2011, C2FPA has acquired a second fire simulator (BOEING 747) which is totally independent from the first one andguarantees the safety of its educational production tool<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

            Each fire simulator (BOEING 747 and AIRBUS 320) operates completely independently. Its equipment and computer networks are separate and guarantee secure operation.<\/p>\n

            Two cockpits called “TWR A320” and “TWR B747” allow the implementation of the fire simulation equipment<\/strong>. Each TWR is located in front of its simulator allowing a bilateral vision of the simulator. In case of incident or accident, the trainer can activate the general cut-off in the shortest time.<\/p>\n

            Cutting-edge technology:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

            It is illustrated by a highly secured piloting of the installation<\/strong>, the sectorization of the fire areas<\/strong> to integrate multiple scenarios and the temporization of the start of fire<\/strong> of each zone of all the simulators.<\/p>\n

            Each zone can be set according to the L.P.G. flow rate, allowing for a different heat potential in the same exercise phase<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

            Depending on the defined educational objective, the fire simulators can be used either in manual or automatic mode and it is possible to combine the operation of several simulators<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

            Traffic on the entire circumference of the maneuvering areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            An aircraft fire simulator must be associated with a large maneuvering area<\/strong> around its entire circumference. Foam Response Vehicles (FRV) have a maximum ance range on turret of 65 meters<\/strong> and must be able to operate in “dynamic” mode over the entire 360\u00b0 around the aircraft.<\/p>\n

            The maneuvering area of our BOEING 747 simulator offers a distance from the central part of the simulator to its immediate surroundings of 75 meters to 120 meters<\/strong>. The A320\/B737 simulator has a diameter of 100 meters<\/strong> with two access roads.<\/p>\n

            Only this condition allows the implementation of the Principles of Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (P.S.L.C.I.A.)<\/strong> in an educational and efficient way on all the different scenarios of localized and generalized fires with 2 and 3 Foam Response Vehicles.<\/p>\n

            The Helicopter Fire Simulator<\/strong> is the latest to join the technical platform. Mobile, it can be easily transported<\/strong> on any site for intervention exercises thanks to its 5 fire points<\/strong> working independently of each other, or for victim extraction exercises<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
